EV charger installation in Hexham & Northumberland

A properly sized, smart home chargepoint fitted by a local Hexham electrician who understands long driveways, stone walls, detached garages and rural supplies. OZEV approved, NAPIT registered, and happy to tell you straight if your property needs extra work first.

  • OZEV approved installer
  • NAPIT registered
  • Trading since 2013
  • Based in Hexham

Charging at home, designed around your property

Most home chargepoints are straightforward to fit. In Northumberland, though, the details vary a lot from house to house: a terrace in Hexham with the fuse board under the stairs is a very different job from a farmhouse outside Haltwhistle where the car is parked by a barn forty metres away. We look at your supply, your earthing, the cable route and where you actually park before we recommend anything.

  • Smart chargers that let you schedule charging on cheaper overnight tariffs
  • Cable sized properly for longer runs to drives, garages and outbuildings
  • Earthing assessed for outdoor EV charging, as BS 7671 requires
  • Supply checked, and the DNO (Northern Powergrid locally) notified through the ENA connections portal
  • Grant paperwork handled where you are eligible
  • Tested and certified, with your app set up before we leave

Chargers we install

We fit chargers from these manufacturers and will recommend one based on your car, your tariff, whether you have (or plan) solar panels, and how far the charger will be from your consumer unit.

Electricians for the rest of your home, too

Charging is our headline service, but we're a full electrical contractor. If your EV survey shows an old fuse board or a wiring problem, we can sort that as well, and we take on general electrical work in its own right.
